Service Fee Schedule
All service charges are in $US dollars.
The minimum service charge is $25.
You will be billed for the remaining amount after service has been rendered.
Service Rates
Option #1
75 cents per 1000 bytes when you provide just a URL web site address
and this service is to crawl your website for you and process it for
service.
Option #2
50 cents per 1000 bytes when you crawl your own website or provide a folder of documents, .zip compress it, integrity check the .zip file and make it available for download from the Internet for service.
Option #3
25 cents per 1000 bytes when you crawl your own website or provide a
folder of documents, .zip compress it, integrity check the .zip file on
media to be mailed, burn it to a disc (CDROM or DVD) or copy it to an
inexpensive USB key and mail it for service.
NOTE: Option #3 is currently not available for websites or document sets larger than 250 megabytes.

Crawling your website instead of simply copying it from a file system may be necessary if large amounts of web page content is being stored within databases or is being generated dynamically.
How Your Service Charge is Calculated
Data size is defined as the size of the files containing the document content and the document format information. The reason you are charged for everything a file contains -- including content, scripting, tags, internal structures is due to the fact that it takes longer to process such a file than it does to process a text file which just contains content.
You will not be billed for non-document files such as images, audio files, flash files or video files or document files that were not selected for processing through selection criteria.
When mailing CDROM or DVD
CDROM and DVD discs are cheap. Send two copies to avoid a service delay should one of them be unreadable upon arrival. After burning your discs be sure to integrity check the .zip files directly on the discs to check for defective media. This service will also integrity check the .zip files before processing them.

Service Preparation Checklist
Follow this preparation checklist before ordering service for the best service results.
Be sure your document set does not contain content that cannot be made public;
such as sensitive financial information, classified military information, etc.
Eliminate as many duplicate document files as possible to improve service reporting.
Multiple copies of the same document will multiply the number of possible issues reported by this service.
When crawling your own website be sure to use filtering criteria to filter out non-document
files such as images, flash files, audio and video files, etc.
Provide this service with file and folder name selection criteria to prevent the processing of files containing foreign language content if you are unable to filter them out yourself. You may also want to filter out blog or user feedback folders which usually contain high levels of misspellings when you do not want to data mine them for trend analysis information. The pattern "/espanol/" would be used to avoid processing a folder named "espanol" containing Spanish language document files.
If possible, determine the total size of your document files (uncompressed), to get an initial
estimate of the cost to process your document files using this service.
Provide your custom U.S. English word list in an ASCII text file if you have one.
